Making A Purchase

All Orders are entered at time of placement. Please have your Customer Number and or telephone number ready when placing your order. This will help us to expedite your order. Also, indicate if you would like your order shipped complete, otherwise we will ship what we have and back order the remaining products of the order when the products are received.

Shipping And Handling

Shipping charges are based on weight and service zone. The minimum shipping charge is $6.95. An $2.00 handling charge is applied to all orders. Any on-line orders will be confirmed via e-mail

Backorders

MAT Electronics attempts to stock all items listed in it's catalog and advertising. We will automatically cancel items not available after one month in our system unless otherwise specified by the customer, in which case, we will ship items as they become available. In cases of COD backorders, We will charge only the current COD Charge on the backorder shipment.

Sales Tax

Due to strict tax regulations, sales tax will be charged to all in-state orders operated from Pennsylvania and Nevada, unless, a valid tax exempt certificate is filed with MAT Electronics.  

Please refer to your own local taxing authority for further information and a copy of the exemption form. Customer residing in Pennsylvania and Nevada can obtain the appropriate forms from our Accounting Department.

Pricing

Due to fluctuations of the dollar against the International Exchange Rate and changing market conditions, our prices are subject to change without notice. Discount Policy

All MAT Electronics advertised discounts and coupons DO NOT apply to any of our Security Equipment, Sound Equipment and/or Test Equipment.

Substitute Policy

Semiconductors are regularly discounted by manufacturers. Generally, the manufacturer will provide replacement devices, which we will use whenever possible. When the manufacturer has not supplied us with a replacement device, we will supply you with an equivalent device by another maker. We will automatically substitute on all orders when necessary unless the customer otherwise specifies.

Special Order Parts

If available through our suppliers, we will gladly attempt to special order products not in our regular inventory. However, once special orders are placed, they can not be cancelled, refunded and/or returned.

Returns Policy

All parts must be examined by the customer upon receipt of shipment. If there are any discrepancies with the order, they must be reported to a Customer Service Representative within 7 working days of receipt. 

All returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number (RA#) supplied by a MAT Electronics Customer Service Representative.

Customer has 14 days from issue date to return merchandise, RA# will not be valid after these 14 days.

The RA# must be printed legibly in BOLD print on the outside of the shipping box. Customer must have a copy of the invoice in the box and indicate the reason for the return.

All parts must be returned with all accessories included and in the original packaging. Any returns not having this information will not be accepted as a valid return and will be returned to the customer. Shipping charges on original orders are not refundable. 

We WILL NOT issue UPS Call Tags for pickup of return packages. The customer is responsible for returning the part and will be re-charged for the replacement part if applicable. A merchandise credit or refund will be issued upon receipt of returned part.

Whole order returns that were classified as undeliverable by shipping company, due to customer error, are subject to any additional shipping charges that may be incurred on re-shipment of order to the customer.

If an order is refused by the customer two times without a valid and acceptable reason, the customer is automatically placed on a "payment in advance shipments only" or a "credit card only" basis. 

A 15% restocking charge will be applied to any returns due to customer error.

Shorted Shipments

If you were billed for parts not received, please contact our Customer Service Department. Notify us which part(s) you did not receive along with the invoice number. We will send out the parts immediately. All claims MUST be made within 7 days from date of receipt.  

Order Re-shipments

If an order is returned to MAT Electronics, due to customer error, any additioanl shipping charges incurred when the order is re-shipped back to the customer will be charged back to the customer.

Re-stocking Charge Policy

If a customer determines that they no longer need a part(s) or it is just not what they want, a 15% restocking charge will be applied against the original charge--NO EXCEPTIONS.

Guarantee

Any parts or products purchased from MAT Electronics that prove to be defective will be replaced or refunded to the customer only if returned within 90 days of receipt. An Return Authorization Number (RA#) must be supplied by our Customer Service staff with a copy of your invoice. All Test Equipment is warranted by the original manufacturer and is exempt of MAT Electronics guarantee. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this 90 day warranty period.  

EPA Chemical Regulation

It is a violation of Federal Law to sell, distribute or offer to sell or distribute any chlorofluorocarbon containing cleaning fluid for electronic and photographic equipment to any one who is not a commercial user of this product. The penalty for violating this prohibition can be up to $25,000 per sale. Individuals purchasing such products must present proof of their commercial status in accordance with 40CFR 82.68(C) or 82.68(C). 

Warranty/Disclaimer

 The items identified in this inventory are sold "AS-IS, WHERE-IS." There shall be NO OTHER warranties, express or implied, including the warranty of MERCHANTABILITY.

Limitation of Remedies

The BUYERS exclusive remedy for any claim is limited to a refund or credit, which buyer must make within 30 days from date on the final invoice. Furthermore, the refund or credit shall be limited to, and under no circumstances exceed, the amount of the purchase price as listed in the final invoice
